Fundraising event for The New Zealand Dance Company

The Gallagher generously hosted a fundraising event for The New Zealand Dance Company in March 2015. It was an extremely successful and engaging event in this wonderful boutique venue.

The Garden Party was a classic afternoon tea held at The Gallagher which provided the perfect surroundings to launch NZDC’s Australasian Tour of ‘Rotunda’ (a tribute to the tremendous Anzac contribution to World War 1). The company dancers were accompanied by the NZ Army Band, performing excerpts from ‘Rotunda’ for guests to enjoy , the elegance of the traditional surroundings were an excellent fit with our
1914 – 18 theme and symbolised the ‘homefront’, a perfect match and a great venue.

The collective effect of the wonderful ambience and the entertainment produced a very generous response from invitees, who are still part of the New Zealand Dance Company whanau today.
